Inspired by the A82, the long road from Glasgow to Inverness and Fort William, where wild rhubarb grows in abundance along the verges, this candle captures the fresh, fruity spirit of a Highland road trip. It is made in small batches in the Scottish Highlands using natural, renewable soy wax, which burns cleanly and evenly.
The fragrance opens with green rhubarb leaf, blended with juicy peach, raspberry and strawberry, and settles into soft background hints of jasmine, rose and musk. It is bright and uplifting without being overpowering, making it lovely for kitchens, living rooms and bathrooms, especially in spring and summer. Each candle comes in an amber glass jar made with up to 30% recycled content, and the jar is fully recyclable once you are finished. One tree is planted for every order.
Choose from a small candle, 110g with a burn time of around 25 hours, or a regular size with around 40 hours. For the best burn, let the wax melt to the edges on the first light and keep the wick trimmed to around 5mm. Always burn within sight, never leave a lit candle unattended, keep it away from draughts and flammable items, and place it out of reach of children and pets on a heat-resistant surface.
